Meet Tony

Tony Roszkowski’s story is one where luck, knack, and grit meet opportunity. He came to Bandon, OR from his hometown of Bayonne, N.J., in 1989 looking for work. When a friend asked him to watch his tackle shop near the pier in Bandon, Roszkowski offered such a slew of ideas about how he would improve things, the owner sold him the place.

From there, Tony installed a cooker on the side of the tackle shop and began steaming crabs for tourists. They were the same customers who bought bait and crab rings. 

Slowly, over the next 15 years, the menu evolved from cold crab cocktail and oysters to Bandon's Famous crab sandwich, grilled halibut, smoked salmon alfredo, fish tacos, and classic coastal dishes.

MEET DAVID

David Hisel and his wife Christina moved to Bandon in 2010 to be closer to family, and have been in Coos County for 23+ years. They have 2 beautiful daughters named Myah and Teja. David is the Chairman of the Bandon School Board as well as the Vice President and Branch Manager for Banner Bank in Bandon. David and Tony are close friends and they prayed and worked closely together for over a year before completing the purchase agreement for David to take over Tony’s Crab Shack in January of 2023.

David’s vision for Port O’ Call Inc, and Tony’s Crab Shack is to provide the best possible place to work in Bandon for his staff, and to provide the number one seafood experience on the Oregon Coast! David recognized the amazing legacy that Tony has built, and he plans to build upon that legacy very carefully by making sure we do our very best in every way, every time!

David has hired his sister Kayt Glazier as the General Manager of Port O’ Call Inc, as well as Kayt’s daughters named Madison and Brooklynn, and he plans to keep this a family owned and operated company for many years to come.
